You’ve probably heard or said it a million times.

New year, new me.

This is going to be my year.

This year is going to be different.

But what if this year… We set attainable goals you’re guaranteed to succeed at? No effort, or challenge needed.

As a successful failure and lifelong loser with 33 years of hands-on experience, I’m uniquely qualified to guide you step by step into becoming the biggest loser on Earth.

Just follow these simple steps and you’ll be just like me in no time.

Step 1: No goals, No problems!

“You miss 100% of the shots you don't take”

Legendary hockey player Wayne Gretzky

But what if you don’t even get on the court. Be like everyone else and talk sh!t from the sidelines.

Why set goals?

Why grow?

Why have purpose?

Embrace who you are. Don’t have ambitions, learn, grow or try to improve in life. Be completely undisciplined and inconsistent. Stay stagnant in life.  Or better yet get become worse year after year.

Don’t meet new people. Don’t go to new places. Don’t try anything new. Just play it safe. Stay in that comfort zone.

Hakuna Matata!

Easy, right? Don’t even read the next steps. Go ahead and quit.

Live each day drifting, as it comes with no vision or plan…

But… if you insist on having goals, fine.

Proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Be Unrealistic, With No Steps

“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you land among stars.”

Norman Vincent Peale or Les Brown

FALSE!

If you miss the moon, you’ll probably suffocate in the cold, vast, vacuum of space. So…

Aim for the ground. You'll never miss. Don’t soar… Crash TF out.

I always wanted to change the world. Make it a better place. How? You may ask. No clue. But it sounds good, right? Never break goals into smaller steps or more attainable goals.

NEVER create an action plan.

No deadlines. No problems.

Big dreams. Zero execution.

That leads me to the next step.

Step 3: Just Talk, Don’t Do.

Studies shows that sharing your goals can kill motivation by creating a false sense of accomplishments. So share with everyone.

Not just  with your mentors or supporters to get feedback or to hold you accountable. No we’re looking for praise, applause and validation.

But NEVER ask or advice or seek help from others even when facing challenges you've never encountered before. You will look weak and stupid.

Never be humble. Protect your ego at all cost by seeking encouragement and praise ONLY.

Sure social praise satisfies the brain's reward system, making you less motivated to complete the goal but who cares? Aren’t you just looking for validation from others anyways?

Step 4: Wait For The Right Time

When you’re motivated, happy and the stars/ planets to align, that is when you take action.

You can’t just do things.

Do research, then more research and then do the pros and cons.

Then ask a fortune teller, pastor and then ask the universe to give you a sign. Then pray for more signs from God or the universe. Keep asking for more.

Everything has to be perfect. Cause imagine how it will look to others if you suck at it. Or make a mistake. God forbid you look like a rookie or amateur at something you just started.

You need to have it all figured out before starting.

Constantly question every decisions, every thought and words spoken.

Why do it today when you can always do it tomorrow.

Step 5: Never Take Accountability.

Absolutely under no circumstance should you take responsibility for your actions.

It’s always someone else’s fault.

Blame your parent’s for giving you all that trauma.

Blame your mental illness.

Blame the devil, government or the illuminati.

It’s because you’re a Sagittarius and mercury is in retrograde.

Why learn from your mistakes when you can just shift the blame.

Only surround yourself with people who agree with you. Never try to look at things from another perspective. Never self-reflect. It’s too painful. You’re perfect. They’re the problem.

Keep making the same mistakes, keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

Why make an effort when you can make excuses?

Step 6: Quit

Run away from challenges and give up when things get difficult.

Growth isn’t linear. Healing takes time. Everyone moves at their own pace. But you should definitely compare yourself to others. Beat yourself up for every error and mistake while blaming others.

Discomfort is a red flag. Resistance is the universe telling you to stop.

Never challenge yourself. EVER

This is how you become a failure and stay a loser.

Don’t set goals, and if you do, don’t follow through. Just talk about it.

Don’t fail forward, learn lessons, and become the person you keep promising you’ll be “one day.”

Keep living the same year over and over, wishing things would be different.

This could be your year. If you do the opposite… If you do it differently. But…
You already knew all this… and that’s just half the battle.

Knowing was never the problem. Applying it and taking action is.

But hey you can always start tomorrow. Or better yet…

You always got next year. 😉
